Hey,
My name is Ron Thomas, and I am a software developer.
I graduated from university at the height of the dot-com bust. As you can imagine, getting starting in an industry that is overrun with layoffs of experienced people is not easy. But I persevered and got my start. After a long journey through the software industry landscape (which included several bankrupted companies) I have ended up at Solium Capital in Calgary, Alberta.
My other interests include science fiction, fantasy, humour and history. This is not an “IT directed” blog, so I will not prevent myself from writing about them on occasion. I tend to be fairly good at categorizing the posts do you can subscribe to a subset of the blog if you like. After all, this blog is as much for keeping me entertained as you.
